Looking Ahead at SMA’s Fall Sports Season

The new school year brings lots of sports excitement to St. Mary’s Academy.

This year, over 108 High School students are participating in the fall sports season. Volleyball, field hockey, softball and cross country teams all have exciting seasons ahead.

In the Middle School, 121 (90% of the grade 7 and 8 classes) students are participating in sports this fall. A new addition to the roster this year is the Middle School tennis team. Other SMA Middle School fall sports teams include boys grade 7/8 soccer, girls grade 7/8 field hockey, girls grade 7 volleyball, girls grade 8 volleyball, co-ed grades 7/8 cross country and co-ed grades 7/8 tennis.

Go, Wildcats!

Annual Fund Enhances the SMA Experience

Welcome back to SMA after a wonderfully warm summer! We hope you are all enjoying the new school year! Please watch your mail for this year’s annual fund information. The dollars raised from the annual fund help to provide SMA with wonderful additions to our school and campus. Our goal this year is 100% participation from all of the SMA community; faculty, staff, and parents. All donations are greatly appreciated and it is the participation, not the dollar amount, that counts!

Donations may be made online at our secure website at http://www.smanet.org. If you have any questions regarding the 2008-2009 annual fund; please contact Charlie Arbogast, Director of Advancement at 303-783-6227.
