• St. Mary's Academy was founded in 1864 by the Sisters of Loretto.

• St. Mary's Academy granted the first high school diploma in the Colorado Territory in 1875.

• Nine times in 17 years, SMA teams advanced to the Global Finals of Destination ImagiNation.

• Facilities include Lower School building, High School building, Middle School building, Bishop Evans Sports Center (gym and weight room), gym in the Lower School building, and regulation playing fields for softball, lacrosse, and soccer.

• St. Mary’s Academy is  accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools since 1925 and by the Association of Colorado Independent Schools.

• St. Mary’s Academy is a member of the Association of Colorado Independent Schools, Coalition of Girls’ Schools, National Catholic Education Association, National Association of Independent Schools.
