High School

As a collee-preparatory school just for girls, the High School (grades 9-12) program maximizes research findings about single-sex education, namely that girls in single-sex schools surpass their peers in core subjects and demonstrate high academic aspirations. With advanced placement courses, a proactive college counseling team, extensive offerings in team sports and leadership opportunities, each day girls work to achieve their potential in an educational community where the focus is on them, their needs, and their interests.

The faculty recognize teenage years as critical in the lives of young women and are dedicated to helping students develop skills for analysis, critical thinking, problem identification, and problem-solving. Students are expected to be compassionate and responsible and develop into young women of integrity.

The High School offers Advancement Placement classes in English, American History, European History, French Language, French Literature, Spanish Language, Spanish Literature, Calculus AB, Calculus BC, Biology, Art History and Studio Art.

Interscholastic sports include softball, field hockey, volleyball, cross country, track, basketball, swimming and diving, lacrosse, golf, soccer, tennis and dance team.
