Ghana Service Trip
A group of St. Mary's Academy students traveled around the world to Ghana where they visited the Akokoamong village. While there the students helped to put the finishing touches on a school that was about to be opened.
One student describes the experience, "Every day, the village children came to watch us paint, giggling and jostling each other as they tip-toted inside the room or looked in the window to get a better view...it was wonderful to know that the work we were doing would benefit these kids who were so deserving of a good education."
