“Facebook for Parents” Speaker at SMA
Linda Fogg Phillips visisted SMA and spoke to the faculty about Facebook for Educators on late start Wednesday. She returned in the snowy, cold evening and presented Facebook for Parents to a small, but enthusiatic crowd. Linda Fogg Phillips is the world-wide recognized expert on Facebook and families. She is the mother of eight children ages 13 to 28. She knows the challenges of raising children who are immersed with technology. She is the author of two books about Facebook and parents. Linda has co-authored The Facebook Guide for Educators and is currently writing the curriculum addressing social media and families for the International Online Psychology Institute. She empowers parents with the ability to better understand, communicate with and protect their children.
