High School Community Service Day

 

 

Friday, September 30, the SMA High School students and faculty, set out for their annual Community Service Day.  Advisors took groups of students in buses and carloads to 19 different organizations all over the Denver area to participate in service to benefit the Denver community.  Organizations included Girls Giving:Excelsior Youth Center, Clothes to Kids Denver, Habitat for Humanity, Denver Urban Ministries, SaddleUp!, Gathering Place, VOA-American Handyman Project, Anchor Center for the Blind, Mental Health Center of Denver, Denver Rescue Mission, Urban Peaks, The Action Center, Broadway Assistance Center, Dominican Sisters Home Health Agency, Denver Parks and Recreation, Volunteers of America, 4-H, VOA-Woman’s Shelter and Bessie’s Hope.
