HS Field Day and Run for Hunger
High School students and teachers enjoyed a day in the sun playing field games and running to raise money to fight hunger. In the morning students competed in relays, tug-o-war and a costume contest. In the afternoon the students participated in the “Run for Hunger,” a race that brings awareness to the 10.2 billion people who do not have enough food to eat. The day finished up with the dunk tank, where students donated money to fight hunger and got the chance of dunking their teachers in a dunk tank. All the money raised will go to the Loretto Hunger Fund.
