New Parent Breakfasts

The New Parent Breakfasts give families the chance to met others in the community and learn more about SMA from brief presentations from a member of the Board of Trustees, Deirdre Cryor, Academy President, and Charlie Arbogast, Director of Advancement. Three breakfasts have already taken place.

When parents introduce themselves, they talk about their reasons for choosing SMA.    Like parents already part of the community, the new parents have academics, small classes, great teachers, college placement, spirituality and values, safe and caring environment, and our all-girls high school topping their list of why they chose SMA.

Many comment that open house, a personal tour on a school day and the students  “shadowing” day were important factors in choosing SMA.  Many say they learned about SMA from friends and professional colleagues.  Thanks, parents, for being such great ambassadors out in the community.

Parents new to SMA or new to a division, here are the remaining dates if you have not had the opportunity to attend. Please RSVP to Jackie Neal at 303.762.8300.   The breakfasts take place in the Sanders House Board Room.
