Outdoor Education, Bonding and Fun

The Middle School and High School are involved in their annual outdoor trips! Sixth and seventh graders go to Diamond Tail Ranch, eighth graders  to the Great Sand Dunes National Park and Preserve and the high school girls to Snow Mountain Ranch.

At Diamond Tail the kids will enjoy the beauty of northern Colorado while sleeping in tents, eating food cooked on the campfire and exploring the outdoors.  Kids will have the chance to fish, ride horses, hike and get to know their fellow classmates.

Eighth graders will visit the Sand Dunes where they will be camping and enjoying the magnificence of the Great Sand Dunes National Park.   The kids will climb and explore the Sand Dunes all while bonding and connecting with their classmates and teachers.

The High School students and faculty will go to Snow Mountain Ranch for their annual retreat.  The students and teachers will get to know each other and build relationships through STUCO  lead activities and free time spent mountain biking, hiking, orienteering, climbing and crafts.

What a wonderful way to start the year!
