Pioneer Day- a Real Hootenanny!
After learning about Pioneers all year long, the third graders had a hootenanny of a good time putting their knowledge into action and being Pioneers for the day. Ms. Peister and Ms. Frieman, along with a great group of parent volunteers, helped the students as they churned their own butter, made cornbread, panned for gold, learned cross stitching, archery and quilting.
