Two Semi Finalists for SMA in National Merit Scholarship Selections

Sarah Heyborne and Cassie Prouty are semi finalists for the 2012 National Merit Scholarships.  Caty Coughlin, Afton Montogomery, Holly Pretsky, Alanna Toomey and Andrea Lorenz have been named Commended Students in the National Merit scholarship Program.  Andrea Lorenz has also been selected as a 2011-12 National Hispanic Recognition Program Scholar.                                                        

These students placed among the top five percent of more than 1.5 million students across the country who entered the 2012 competition by taking the 2010 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test.
