SMA Alumna speaks about film project
Kathy M’Closkey ’61 visited the high school on Thursday to introduce the documentary Weaving Worlds and to share her experience as the film research director. As an adjunct associate professor in the Department of Sociology and Anthropology at the University of Windsor, Ontario and author of “Swept Under the Rug: A Hidden History of Navajo Weaving”, Dr. M’Closkey revealed deep insights into the lives, history and culture of these native artisans.
