Thanks to generous alumnae and parents, St. Mary’s Academy can continue its mission to educate students in the Loretto tradition. Rather than fund merit scholarships, some of our fundraising enables us to offer tuition assistance based purely on need. In this way, we can reach students who might not have the opportunity to attend one of Denver’s most prestigious private schools and receive such an exceptional educational.  Other giving opportunities arise from needs in the operating budget or facility improvement. For example, our Annual Fund has enabled us to provide telephones in every classroom, a fleet of activity buses, sound equipment for the Performing Arts, printmaking equipment in the Visual Arts department, a new weight room for our Athletic program and much more.

Whatever the fundraising need or activity, the St. Mary’s Academy community never fails to come together and enthusiastically find the resources to solve the challenge at hand. Through the collaboration of so many willing hearts and hands, our school continues to thrive and our mission continues to be realized. Whether you’re new to our school or a veteran St. Mary’s Academy parent, you have only to lend a hand at one of these events to feel part of our close-knit community.

Should you have any questions about fundraising or giving activities, please call or email our Advancement Staff. We’d love to help you.

What is the sum of 1 and 8?

"After three states, three children and experience in both private and public schools, we believe we have found a hidden treasure at St. Mary's Academy!  We give to SMA because the school truly excels in providing a foundation for learning that prepares students for success in the coming years."
